i don't know what everyone can complain about- this is a fantastic and often challenging game to play- very enjoyable. Some people have been complaining about the game positioning the player awkwardly, not responding to forehand, dodging the backhand, blocking the player from approaching the net- with respect these players cannot be plying it properly- the trick is not to use the wii motion plus with the nunchuck- the secret to success is to use just a normal wii remote and play tennis properly- as if u were in real life- run for the ballbend the knees, simulate proper service motion!! dont just stand there pressing buttons and idly swinging the racket from side-to-side!!!! i have done it this way ever since i bought it and have won 24 out of 25 grand slams - firstly winning 4 on the Easy mode then 8 on the Medium and 12 on the hard. And for those that say its tricky to get used to it- it should be challenging, professionals dont just go out and win a tournament in their debuts do… more »

p.s. to the customer who is considering buying this- it is way better than virtua tennis but if i doubt buy both as the virtua has a greater variety of party games and opponents

I've had this game now for a little while and i do really enjoy it. However i feel that the grand slam mode lacks a little depth, for instance, in other games like virtua tennis and topspin there are several mini-games throughout a season which this lacks a bit. Yes, there are the compulsary pre-tournament games which are ok but there should be more training focused games.
The graphics are on one hand really good, the chartoony graphics for the players work really well but i have to say, compared with other ea series games the crowd looks like cardboard! It doesnt affect gameplay but i feel that ea could have done better here.
